High PItched Oscillator Like Sound #182

Good Morning, I just finished assembling the module (rev2). I uploaded the Radio_Music_2017.2.hex file onto the teensy 3.2. I used a brand new, out of the package, SanDisk Ultra 32GB microSD card. On the card I used the SD_Blank file tree. When I power up the module in my rack, the first three leds on the top cycle in order roughly three times, then the last led stays lit and the module produces a high pitched oscillator type sound. The station knob does not do anything and the start knob adjusts the pitch of the sound. No audio files can be played. I have uploaded the .hex file several times and I have reformatted the microSD card a few times as well, trying my own files as .wav files and I have tried with the SD_Blank file tree. Also, no settings.txt file is being created on the microSD card.

Hi, where did you purchase the kit, did you build it yourself?

I think the best thing to do first is upload 6 photos of your build, both sides of each PCB and the teensy. If you don't have all 4 LEDs lighting and the settings.txt isn't getting written to the card that suggests a soldering or build issue.

Hi Steve,

Sorry for the delay. I soldered the teensy to the board so I am only able to send four images. I did build the module myself and I purchased it from Thonk in July. Thank you for the help!

David
