Recently saw this project (https://github.com/hogit/slow-movie), which is a mashup of SlowMovie and support for IT8951 screens. We've had a lot of asks for this in the past (#85) but never had someone actually take on the task of writing any code to do it. Looks like the basic work has been done here.
Describe the solution you'd like
A collaboration if possible on taking the new screen types from the other project and merging them back here. It fits the description of this project to maintain as many working screen types as we can without splintering into a bunch of sub projects that are basically the same exact thing but with other screen support.
Describe alternatives you've considered
No alternatives, I don't own one of these screens personally or I'd have done it already. I'll post on the slow-movie repo and reference this issue to see if there is any support for it.
