Describe the problem
I'd like to set up my own video by ripping some old DVD, and I wonder if there are any requirements in terms of encoding? Especially:
I noticed that Videos/test.mp4 is rather large (1280x688) and I wonder if this might require unnecessary CPU load on a Pi, I guess the video might as well be fitting the screen? Or are there any implications?
Videos/test.mp4 has audio and this might be skipped as well? Or are there any implications?
Is there a recommended codec, bitrate, compression, ...? One that works better/worse on the Waveshare display, one that performs better/worse on limited CPU power, ...
Platform Information
Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W, Pi OS Lite (32 bit, 2023-05-03), current Python
