Hello,

Trying for a while to make an AppImage from sources, but i do not succeed.

Making an AppImage should be great!

What have you tried and why does it fail?

@vdel78, try the following:

Download AppImageKit
Make it executable: chmod a+x APPIMAGEKITFILENAME
Create a new folder: xlunch.AppDir
- Put the xlunch executable (that you have built using make) in the folder and rename it to AppRun
- Put the Png app icon in the folder and rename it .DirIcon.png (note the dot)
- Write and put a xlunch.desktop file in the folder and change the following fields:
  - Exec: AppRun
  - Icon: .DirIcon (note the missing file ending)
- Add a subfolder named Help. (can be empty)
Run AppImageKit on the AppDir.
Done.
