Wings that barely allow you to fly, with a very low max height. But when you drop ontop of an entity you will do loads of damage to it :3

flying with anvils? sounds like you did /gamerule gravity false

They would REALLLY require you to spam space to even get up the slightest bit, but hey! You can use it as a (stupid) weapon!

Not so much flying up then dropping, more like climbing a cliff, putting the wings on, and dive-bombing something. Sounds like something Wile E. Coyote would try...
