We should do our best to get our code up to the WordPress coding standards. I believe most of the changes will be in formatting, however there may be a few places where we will need to change filenames to adhere to the "class-per-file" recommendations.
Using WordPress' coding standards keeps our code in line with what future potential code reviews may be looking for, and makes our code itself blend into core. We're already actively promoting our visual integration; may as well go all the way.
