update version string from git describe #36

remove version.py file remove dependency from importlib-metadata closes #35

It doesn't seem to get here: https://github.com/paskino/qt-elements/blob/fdf5274d62a99b8584fd8427e0809944eee056b2/test/test_dialog_example_2.py#L16 (I don't see the print out: https://github.com/paskino/qt-elements/runs/4033615881?check_suite_focus=true)

Is it the imports at the top of the file which make it fail? Can we move them into the check for conda build?
