Unable to create file ..."/.config/Transmission Remote GUI/transgui.ini"

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Upon general installation on Mac OSX 10.8.5 the application failed to launch.
2. Launching the transgui executable in the .app contents folder resulted in 
the error

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

jamesdodd being my username etc.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

OSX 10.8.5
Transmission Remote Gui 4.1

Please provide any additional information below.

I manually created a blank version of the file in the correct location and it 
opened up fine and held my settings information etc.

Seems to be some permission issue. Since nobody else experience this issue it 
may be specific to your environment only. I have no idea what it can be. Just 
something (file system permissions?) prevents transgui to create a file.
