Windows size information lost after closing in some cases

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open transmission 5.0, resize the window to any size on screen but max.
2. now maximize the window and close the program
3. re-launch and click on restore down. the window should not be the same size 
you set it to but the size of the screen and slightly lower and overlapping the 
windows taskbar.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
i expect it to retain the previous window size and never overlap the taskbar.

i suspect the window state and size information is not saved/read properly.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
5.0 beta but it was also happening in the v4.1
