Linux download version problem #783

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Downloaded 5.0.1 from Google code page and run it!

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
1. App works fine but is reporting itself as v5.0.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1. 5.0 on Crunchbang Linux.

Please provide any additional information below.
1. Either the version wasn't uprevved in the programme or the wrong version is 
in the 5.0.1 download file.
