just tried the settings for jest/typescript here https://github.com/decentralized-identity/did-jwt/blob/master/tsconfig.json with new jest settings to support ESM https://stackoverflow.com/questions/60372790/node-v13-jest-es6-native-support-for-modules-without-babel-or-esm
