Dashclock Extension :) #42

Looks like we need assets for a cd and database. Just shared my Opoloo icons with you, and I think that the "record" icon might do in place of the CD, although I'm least inclined to provide a CD icon as a choice. The rest are viable options though for the drives people will want to summarize.

The only problem I had is that it just displays 0/0bytes for used and available storage.

Oh yea, forgot about those icons. I just left them in there thinking "good enough", but we should definitely curate a bit more. The thing about dashclock is that it flattens the icons based on transparency, so only "dark" icons work well.

As for disk usage, what does the File system information dialog in the main app read for you?

bkensey commented 11 years ago

What we could do is dynamically select the icon based on the drive selected by the user. That way we could just display whatever is used by the bookmarks drawer.

Looks like the main filesystem dialog is reading 0 bytes as well. It's probably a 4.3 bug, so we can resolve that separately. Let's get the icons ironed out and then merge.

I think this should suffice, for now. If this feature ends up being a hit, I want to add more functionality, but I think can go ahead and merge at this point.

I agree. Just tested out the latest additions, and the menu is very clean and works well. +1 from me.
