google plus excessive data usage #1050

Google plus used .9 Gb of data today. I'm not sure what time frame but for the 
majority of the day I was on wifi  I had to increase my data plan to avoid 
charges. I have no idea why this happened but I'm very frustrated.

I checked some Google+ share option and it looks like that share your location 
and location history data usage is huge, more than 100Mb a day.
