I would like to provide a URI and get a list of people (Google+ ID's) who have
plus one'd that URI.

Google doesn't give a fuck about most of the issues nowadays. It's just too big.

If they would be a small company looking for growth then they would have people
answering all these questions. At least, they would say:

- We are not going to do it because...
- It is planned for...

etc.

What we have here is COMPLETE ignorance of anything anybody is saying. So don't
wasted your breath here. Unless you have a relative that can write in a
newspaper something like:

"- Google doesn't care about its users any longer"

with a link to this discussion, you will not see any sort of reaction, despite
this being the "official GPlus forum".

We need Google below 50% market share as a search engine. We need that badly
for a lot of reasons. But I don't know how that can be achieved.

....see http://ramblings.mcpher.com/Home/excelquirks/gassnips/plusonecounts

But there is also a non.google api.. Shared count , that does it too.writeup
also in the link...

Not that Google pays any attention to issues anymore, but a huge +1 from me on
this particular issue. C'est la vie.

Hey kuzvasi and bruce. I'm sure many people in this thread might know how to
collect +1 by unofficial ways. But having an official API endpoints will solve
the problem of 'persistence' for companies.

This basic feature should have been available on day one in the API. Please,
either implement this or shut G+ down. Hundreds of sites would use this, and in
the process be promoting G+. It's inappropriate to require people to use a
hackaround to get this kind of information.

I can't believe this. Tried everything. No documentation. No nothing. I will
now remove all +1 from all of my websites.
