For Shrine of Harvest, a broad idea for a possible gimmick could be bonuses acquired from owning provinces with staple agricultural trade goods. Shrine of Harvest grain, wine, and even dyes could have bonuses for the two sisters. Perhaps even terrain could affect the country's bonuses, with a duality between owning provinces or development in forests/woods vs farmlands/grasslands.
Personal Note: Wouldn't think dyes to be under harvest necessarily in Gensokyo but that's just me.
