I think this documentation (https://tokio.rs/tokio/topics/tracing) describes what needs to be done here

[x] research good practices for structured logging in rust
[x] implement those in ruuster's crates
[x] implement fallback to file output if Jaeger server is not avaiable
[x] add documentation to README.md about docker container used to collect and display traces
[ ] drop down severity of most used log instances (message consumed, message pushed) from INFO to DEBUG
[ ] reaserach and add metrics
