Hi, sorry for the late response. Thanks for the PR!

I think I'll go with a slightly more complicated approach that doesn't require a dependency on the universal scheduler library, and allows the plugin to be run on java 8 if necessary (I believe folia requires java 17 to build).

This was really helpful though, thank you so much!
