can't create new town

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. executing from admin account  /town new townname myname
2. error

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Well, it is considered to create a town, as far as I understand

What is your Towny version number?
Towny v0.81.0.0
What is your TownyChat version number?
erm, the latest one from the dev.bukkit page, made for 1.3.2
What is your Bukkit version number?
1.3.2 build 2352
What operating system?
Windows 7 ultimate

sorry for misinforming. my towny was 81.0.0 instead of 81.0.20, which should be used.
But after I changed to 81.0.20 I see another picture. there's no error, the chat just
writes "null" in red letters. console is silent, it does't show any errors, as well
as new town is not created.

I've tested it with minimum plugins - WE, WG, PEX, crafconomy, LWC, vault. Same picture.

There is no /ta new TOWNNAME command. Towns are created with /town new TOWNNAME.

at the moment looks like the problem is caused by VAULT+TOWNY+REGISTER conflict+bad
config.yml (bypass bukkit check should be set to true, if using dev bukkit).
Testing further.

I'm having this same error.  When typing "/town new townname", all i get is:
[Towny] null

- server console simply shows i typed the command.  No other feedback.
- debug.log just has the save world message in it "[Nov 26, 2012 10:44:18 PM] [Towny]

I think I know what happened. The java of the server was out of date, I hadn't realized
it. I updated it, and updated EVERYTHING, and for me it works again.

have, and what version do you have now?

I have the same issue. I am using:

* Bukkit 1.4.7.-R0.1-b2602jnks
* Towny 0.82.1.0
* Windows 7 64
* Java JRE 1.7.0_11 64bit

The command I used was /town new [name] and the console just showed the command issued,
while the chat showed [Towny] null

ik heb een probleem! als ik een town wil maken (/town new <townname>) dan zegt towny
dat ik geen towm kan maken hier ofzo zoiets als dit: i cant afford towm make here ofzo.

help me alle forums zijn onduidelijk over dit probleem. bukkit 1.5.2
