Suggestion: Cooldown for leaving a town/nation. #6086

Please explain your feature request to the best of your abilities:

Due to the amount of people I see town hop, I thought a system that prevents people from leaving a town for a certain amount of time could be a thing. That way people cannot just make new towns in order to exploit SiegeWar or other war plugins.

Is this still in the works?

Even a cooldown for leave town/nation command could help reduce this issue. Ideally it would be a cooldown between leaving and joining however.

Any reason why this was abandoned? Town/nation hopping makes a joke out of the war plugins

I shut a ton of tickets from people who aren't sponsoring. Only about 1% of servers are sponsoring the work I do, so I'm prioritizing tickets from people who sponsor.

Ah okay, at least I was sponsoring for many months while this was relevant, but I suppose it wasn't my ticket even if I supported the idea. Maybe some more incentive based compensation method could be more effective than the per-month sponsor system, or a premium Towny then.
