Confusion: Plots

Its not a defect or anything of your mod, but i haven't been able to figure out how
to make plots work. 

So for start, I'm running the most recent build (0.79). MY Goal is to have plots (8x12)
Available for user to purchase in my "Spawn" city. 

I have seen other servers implement Towny in the same way, but I just haven't quite
figured it out yet. I've tried using the /plot claim command , and it claims it claimed
something yet (For One) Can't tell what size section i just claimed, And 2nd, how to
append it to another plot (Combining two Together). 
Does it claim plots by chunks just like when using the /town claim command? 

Any help would be appreciated but not entirely necessary. 
*Side note - Your wiki is great and goes into great details, but some of the commands
you only give the syntax of the command not its purpose & Default settings. I Recommend
doing a complete overhaul of your commands section in  your wiki.

So I've found that it does claim plots by chunks, so where in the Config file can I
find the place to change it so it claims space INSIDE chunks as plots? I've seen other
servers do this and I would like to do the same.

I'm not understanding your question at all. I'd suggest you read the wiki on how towny
works.
