the same with ETF 6.0.1 and the latest iris?
does it work if you make the underlying texture transparent in those pixels?
I'm not sure if this is better or same. From tonight testing it seems that when a texture works, she does work all the time tho. Wich wasn't the case before apparently.
And yeah, If I make the underlying transparent the emissive does appear. here I removed 1st layer of torso and right leg:

2) Emissive on second layer seems to work all the time
Having shader enabled or not doesnt't seem to matter
