Also: where did this (favicon.ico) come from? It's nice:

Concepts around the project:

• take a stance to support projects/issues you believe in
• donation economy vs. market economy; giving directly to people/orgs whose work you enjoy
• giving locally, to individuals, small orgs vs. spending your money in big multinationals

(that favicon is from another project hosted in the same server: selladay.ajogalvan.com ;)

• Any particular visual style you fancy? Inspiring logos you like? Brands you think about or would like to see associated with it (either visually or conceptually)?
• Where will it be used? Badges? Buttons in 3rd party sites?

1. My personal preferences are clean and simple things, but I don't have any argument of why TrackDons should be that way... :)
2. Yes and yes. Probably those are the most small size-constrained places?

BTW, the actual website design is something to not take into account at all. Its something temporary that can be replaced 100%. We should open another issue about that...

An idea I'm working with is the concept of recurrence and love (since you basically support what matters to you):

I toyed with the idea of adding "money" to the mix:

but I like my logos subtle and that reference is too obvious and inelegant for my taste (also: showing just one currency symbol is a minefield in a global economy : )

If we wanted to add the concept of "track" we could do something like this:

but it ends up looking too busy, and since it's already on the name, I think I'd stick with the simpler version (type is for positioning only, haven't really spent time working on it):

Love it! +1 to the simpler version (also think that the currency symbol is not needed)

btw, open to using new colors (and really, anything about the design ;)

Yeah, now you mention it the red badge kinda looks like a counter for a blood donation campaign : )

orange looks good, no problem in changing it. buy changing all greens in the site for the oranges, without changing anything else maybe will produce a strange result?
