Pretty standard for fitness tracker applications. Once workout is started the user can select between pause or stop. We only have stop now. If someone wants to pause right now the only way is to leverage the "Circuit training / bootcamp mode". Kevin Clendenien's use case would also benefit from such button.

Péter Kelemen also requests this. The only workaround right now is circuit workout mode, disabling the data guard watchdog and also maybe divided window mode.
