Rocket League API Support #55

Since unfortunately there is no official API for Rocket League, it would be perfect if you could provide this service. I think the demand is very high. Thanks a lot

Hey Derbast,

Now we are aware that demand is high, however we are unable to provide a API for the public to use sadly - Psyonix has a policy against the hosting of third party APIs and so we cannot host one outselves :( Maybe one day the policy will change -> or maybe Psyonix will finish the one they are "working" on, till then there is sadly no public option.

Sorry about that, Squatch_ Community Support & Discord Admin for TheTrackerNetwork

I'm trying to create my own tracker site as a hobby project, so I'm very sad to see this.

I started my journey by trying to use TRN's own API at api.tracker.gg, to query my Rocket League data. curl, node, deno, all seemed to be banned, so could not be used as a relay server/reverse proxy.

I then tried bun as a JS runtime, which worked for a while. Then that got banned as well.

I then realized I could make an API key to actually "legitimately" query the data via api.tracker.gg, or at least it worked for a while. Turns out that has also been banned now.

So here I am without access to the data whatsoever. It's been a dream of mine to make my own tracker page for a few years, and I finally sit down in front of the computer and work on it instead of playing the game. I work tirelessly, late nights... I got two kids as well... And all my efforts are now banned.

Psyonix, please!

Subscribing to this for... "updates". Keeping hope alive, eh.
