For each segment, videos expected include:

  1. Overview video (reading of text in Segment page, straight delivery)
  2. Examples (act outs)
  3. Assessment (performance measures, modeled)

Count:

  1. Overview = 163
  2. Examples = 163 - 50 = 113
  3. Assessment = 163

Total = 439

Planning Overview videos at 4 per hour = 163/4 = 40 hours 45 minutes of production time. If cut to simpler template, can cut by 50% with more standardized quality at 20 hours 22 minutes. Content is a reading of segment page from this repo.

Examples videos are intro, text, L.O. reading, act out. Replay w/ commentary, close examples, review L.O. If 113 vids needed, producing three per hour.= 37 hours. Question is whether to run as broadcast or voiceover. Broadcast is faster (text from Moodle).

Assessment videos involve role play and performance measures. These come out to 163 items at producing four per hour, totaling 40 hours 45 minutes.

Total estimated production time for shoot/editing is roughly 120 hours. The unpredictable delays in pre-production and post will add roughly double the planned time. Possible time to completion estimated is 360 hours. This is 6 weeks of work in a typical world. It is 3 weeks if leveraging equipment setups. When workflow is functioning, push through. The preproduction and post gliches are the causes of true delays.

Also, shoot assessment last.
