Support for regex library? #841

I love re, but the regex library is more complete.

Is anyone working on implementing the regex library?

Unfortunately, not that I'm aware of. With the re module available on the Python side plus any existing JavaScript libraries, it's not likely a high priority in terms of all the other work that needs to be done on the project.
