This editor has long been discarded. Please check the new interface at https://github.com/TransforMap/transformap-editor and http://transformap.co/transformap-editor/

I also guess the iD editor has been refactored quite heavily in the past and should accomodate customisations and plugins more easily than within our fork these days.
