Aim to get as much of the requirements in the last meeting minutes into the prototype, prior to a review meeting on the afternoon of 23rd September.

Jas comments:

While the PDF refers to map pointers for 'music', this actually means audio.

The minutes say:

I said:

CSS gradients: I think these shouldn't be a problem in principle, they look to be standard CSS, no extra tech required. I notice there may be some extra work to do to make it work on all browsers.

The gradient in the PDF doesn't have any RGB components listed, so as it stands I'd need to use a colour dropper to get them.

And asked:

Icon: can you clarify which icon and in what context?

Jas replied:

Gradients: the colours of the gradient are the same as the ones in the palette minus the green and the 50% blue - so you can use the colour codes from there.

Icon: this refers to any of the map pointers. If one of them is clicked, can it become bigger to signify that it is selected while a pop-up window with relevant info appears alongside or above as discussed. After speaking to Charlie on Friday these pointer icons now have 3 categories - text, video, audio.

Demo now here with working custom icons. Ran into this bug, the posted fix doesn't work for me however, needed to use this and this too. Result seems super hacky, and I am wondering why the react-leaflet library doesn't handle this kind of plumbing.

I think the draft seems to match the design pretty closely now. The only parts which might be missing are specific parts as proposed on the "DIY Home" document, like zoomable images, scroll-bars in the center, text / images split. However, I think those should be dealt with in separate, more granular issues (this issue predates that and is quite broad in scope.)

Missing the explainer box #59 but otherwise looks pretty close so will move to done.
