NuTracks: A NewGRF error has occurred #1

Hello.

I am having trouble with narrow gauge tracks as well as other tracks from the NuTracks add-on together with this 2cc Trains In NML add-on.

The original 2cc Trainset add-on ( https://bananas.openttd.org/package/newgrf/27711003 ) had a built-in support for the NuTracks add-on.

The modern remake is throwing an error when I try to use it together with NuTracks.

Settings of NuTracks were following: Add-on name: NuTracks 2 Version: r283, however, the in-game browser shows it as r284M (!) Settings: see below.

  1. Force-enable third rail / dual power tracks = Low, very low and medium speed;
  2. Force-enable narrow gauge tracks = Regular speed;
  3. Other settings are default.

The error is following:

A NewGRF error has occurred: You have loaded a NewGRF that contains metros designed to run on isolated track (Dutch Trains/2CC Trains/Iron Horse). NuTracks does not supply such tracks - either enable regular third rail in the parameters instead or load something like the Metro Track Set.

The thing is that I have already enabled third rail and narrow gauge rails in the settings of NuTracks.

If I try to buy something for the narrow gauge tracks, I see an empty list of vehicles.

How do I use NuTracks with this modern 2CC Trainset remake ?

Thank you.

It looks like the NuTracks add-on is not compatible with a modern remake of 2cc trainset.

Metro Track Set add-on looks compatible. https://bananas.openttd.org/package/newgrf/fbfb0402

Thank you. I have loaded NuTracks before this add-on and selected the settings mentioned in that thread but the error is still shown at game start. Can this error be ignorred or am I doing something the wrong way ?

I'm not sure, you can always try out what happens.
