Running costs are strange #2

I have found two strange things with running costs.

  1. In the original 2cc trainset, running costs were dynamic – when the train was idle, running costs were greatly reduced.

Another thing about this set is the (by default) high running costs, but this is only when they are in motion. When standing still are the running costs are very low.

The new 2cc remake uses constant running costs which do not depend on motion.

  1. In the new 2cc remake running cost of a single wagon is often greater than running cost of a whole locomotive. How can that be ? Does the wagon consume fuel or megawatts of electricity ?

  1. This has not been implemented in the remake, simply because I did not see the added value of having costs depending on movement (as trains are moving most of the time).
  2. I just have a limited range of costs to work with, I tried to balance vehicles as much as possible with each other, but between different types it is just difficult.

Would it be possible to copy the old costs from previous version of the add-on ?

That might be possible, but I think this set has more vehicles, so there would be some gaps.

But I'm not actively developing this set anymore, so I'm not going to change it.
