ARM support? #6

Hi,

This looks like a really useful project.

Does it work on ARM? My impression is that the hmmbuild part won't, but will nail seed and nail align?

Sorry if I missed this is the doco somewhere, but couldn't immediately see mention of it. TIA

Hi, thanks for taking an interest in nail!

Everything should work on ARM, including hmmbuild (ARM support was added to the HMMER suite in version 3.4).

Ah, so it does. Thanks. In (imperfect, anecdotal) tests, I found hmmer3.4 to be much slower on ARM, FWIW.
