'Disable stereo support on VoIP' setting in PHH Treble Settings is not being honored #107

Current Behavior:

Voice in VoIP apps is uncomprehensibly fast and high pitched ('chipmunk-voice').

Describe the bug

'Disable stereo support on VoIP' setting in the PHH Treble Settings app solved the uncomprehensible fast audio issue in VoIP apps for me, but it broke sometime around last autumn/winter. It is not being honored since then, voice in VoIP apps is uncomprehensibly fast again.

To Reproduce

  1. Try to call someone up in any VoIP app.
  2. Toggle 'Disable stereo support on VoIP' in PHH Treble Settings app.
  3. Reboot.
  4. Try to call someone up in any VoIP app.

Expected behavior

Voice is comprehensible and normal pitched.

Additional context

I don't use VoIP apps very often, so my observation times might not be precise. I first installed the TrebleDroid firmware around the end of last Summer. Then 'Disable stereo support on VoIP' fixed the audio issue for me. I noticed around the end of last Autumn-early Winter that the VoIP audio broke again without touching anything in the Treble Settings app. It is still broken since then.
