Mobile data does not work on SIM 2.
You cannot use mobile data for SIM 2. If the SIMs exchanged slots, whichever ends up on SIM 2 is the one that fails to connect to mobile data.
Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > Name of the SIM 2 carrier
Mobile data works as usual.

SMS works as usual on SIM 2. Also, when you go to Settings > About device > SIM status (sim slot 2), "Phone number on SIM" and "Mobile network state" are always unknown, and Signal strength is always 0 dBm 0 asu.
