No Seed #64

I have input data for roughly a week. I have a couple screenshots but otherwise time traveled. I have double rainbows and almost everything else I made sure to make vague. Even so, it fails to give me a seed and I have triple checked this info and this is actually my second attempt at getting a seed. Any ideas?

The vaguer your data, the harder it is to locate a seed. Frankly, the most optimal way is to find a night where there are shooting stars. Record the meteor shower with your phone (or a capture card, etc.) so that you can have the meteors timed down to the second. This will get you very close, very quickly. You can always time travel back to before a shower if you missed it (as it will happen at exactly the same time).

Hello and thank you for the response. I actually had originally tried only "special" weather events. My entire seed attempt was rainbows, double rainbows, heavy rain, and a couple shooting stars. I still ended up getting no results. I've attempted 4 more times and have come out with either an imperfect seed or no seed at all

  1. Find two nights when shooting stars happen, do this on both nights for more accurate results
  2. Get a stopwatch
  3. Start the stopwatch exactly when a minute ticks over in ACNH, a couple minutes before. Make sure the stopwatch ticks over to the next minute exactly when the minute changes ingame
  4. Write down the exact second indicated on the stopwatch for every shooting star
  5. If there's more showers shortly after, note down the exact times for those as well
  6. optional, video your screen, including the time in the corner. i used the video to doublecheck my times so i didn't have to keep time traveling back
  7. Put those times in, find your seed, magic

To be safe, when entering the times into the site you can reduce each time by a second or two as the search uses a five second window after the times you entered.
