minimize to systray on icon click

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. single click the system tray icon

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expext to be able to minimize the program in this way

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.0.2
on archlinux i686

Please provide any additional information below.
This is an essential feature for tiling window managers that do not have a 
notion of "minimizing"
