Transmission not working now

Hello
I am on Windows 8 64 bits with TR GTK 1.1 installer.
Everyting worked well.
But I think I have closed Transmission because it was working (removing a file)

Now when I launch transmission I get error message (screen 1 then screen 2 
attached)

Do the updated Windows binaries work? 

That error is an unusual one, it looks like it's a problem parsing the JSON, 
I'm not sure it's likely to be the client. As you say, strange it works in the 
web UI. Could it be a proxy causing the issue?

The JSON parser library was updated in the new binaries, so maybe that helps.
