Start minimized seems broken #243

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start transmission-remote-gtk from the command line using
"transmission-remote-gtk -m"
2. Transmission-remote-gtk will start say "Unable to open torrent file: -m"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Transmission-remote-gtk starting minimized (system tray for me). Instead it
tries to open a torrent file "-m"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Running version 1.1.1 on Fedora 20 x86_64 (installed from fedora repository).

Please provide any additional information below.
Even after saying "Unable to open torrent file: -m" it'll still try to add a
torrent file "-m" this doesn't seem entirely right either imo.

Sorry for excavating this bug report but I am using transmission-remote-gtk
1.1.1 on Gentoo Linux and the same happens to me as the OP. The man page states:

OPTIONS
The following options are accepted when running "transmission-remote-gtk":

       -m, --minimized, /m
        Start the application minimized

but the same message "Unable to open torrent file /m" or "... -m". Do you have
a patch I can apply on my own?
