As long as we're properly indexing that stuff from the start, rolling out new search features "shouldn't" be such a big deal later on down the road.
We can always take the site down for maintenace as we roll out upgrades / migrations to the database. But yes - indexes when we know how we'll search, definitely.
Psst.. What was the link for the meanings of those sets again? I'm beginning work on implementing this search and I want to figure out the best way to store things with multiple params like temperature.
I'll get it for you this evening, I'm out drinking but it's on the wiki somewhere....

I'm aware. Does it make changes to the paramsets? Have you given me my link yet? :)
I don't think there are any changes,
The link is http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/v0.31:Advanced_world_generation
But there is no new article up for 34.* yet, so there are some parameters missing from the list there. But the other new ones should be easy enough to figure out I think.

This might add some complexity, but should we be able to search by parameter inside a ParameterSet? Like MegaBeast count, Demon count, etc?
