[Bug]: Severe FPS drops when using the mod #88

Describe the Bug

FPS about halves whenever the F3 menu is open with BetterF3.

Steps to Reproduce

Press F3.

Expected Behavior

No FPS drops.

In the next FPS update, it drops to 70-ish FPS, but I couldn't get a screenshot of that.

Maybe related to #78 — but the MC and mod versions are different.

im working on a modpack and doing some performace testing and 1300 → 700 is my FPS before and after opening f3 with this mod lol
