Limit the max battery charge to 50%.

Motivation (behind your idea)

Many of us use our handheld consoles only randomly. This could mean no use for longer period of times for the handheld. This is bad for the battery life. 50% is the optimal percent of charge for long storage of Li-ion batteries (Zeh et al., 2016). An option to charge only to 50% would be great.

I like the idea. Let us wait for a development team to evaluate effort and technical possibilities. I am afraid battery charging cannot be controlled from software, though.
