[BUG]Donation message does not appear and donation board does not show "thanks" message

Describe the bug Same as the title says. No message in the chat and Donation Board stays on "Do you want to donate" message

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to Donation Board and donate an amount

Expected behavior There is expected to be a message in chat saying a user has donated and the Board is expected to change to a 'thank you' message
