BitStream is yet another proposal for decentralized file hosting built on bitcoin. This one uses HTLCs, verifiable encryption, and a bond/slashing mechanism to punish cheating. F2Pool appears to be mining OFAC compliant blocks https://b10c.me/observations/08-missing-sanctioned-transactions/
Two exciting new* mining pools have been announced promising to decentralize mining. DEMAND is a new stratumV2 solo-mining pool that promises to offer hashrate resale, an important tool for miners to cover their fiat-denominated expenses. The same day (!) OG Bitcoin Core developer Luke DashJr announced the relaunch of his pool Eligius as the rebranded Ocean. Features include KYC-free accounts, transparent block templates, and coinbase payouts. They also promise to build lightning payouts for small miners and stratumV2 support. BULLISH AF 🐂
