Packages improvements #69

Added some useful default packages.

This PR addresses issues #58, #62, #66 and #67.

It is not yet to be merged, as the discussion around docker (see #50) is not yet finished

Need to add NetworkManager to autostart and replace some server packages with Docker.

This PR now also deals with #76.

Recently tested on a desktop machine and seems to be working fine. Since no review is coming in since several months, I will now merge this.
