Euchre: Consider having opponents gang-up on declarer in 3-player game #213

Just a thought... For the 3 player Euchre game, even though it's everyone for themselves, It may be helpful for the 2 players that did NOT call trump to use a "team" approach to set (Euchre) the person that called trump. I have experienced the person on my left over-trumping, or taking a trick, sometimes with the right bower, even after I have taken it, which if they would have throw-off, would have left them with a card that would clearly beat anything the trump-caller has remaining. I still love the game though. At home we never had an "alone" option. It was simply one point for 3 or 4 tricks and 2 points for all 5, with 1 point each for a Euchre. Thanks for your time.

In a Euchre 3-player game against 2 bots:

The logic of 3 person Euchre is flawed. Once a player selects trump, it really should be the other 2 players against them, similar to the opponent "team" in 4 player Euchre. When one opponent has taken a trick, the other opponent should let them take it without trumping (or over trumping) if possible. There are far too many missed Euchre's (sets) with the current logic. Thanks.
