Bug when trying to mount ship near other structures

• In Minecraft 1.12.2 on a server

Game does not crash, but ship rejects/dismounts player until the player removes nearby objects. Sometimes ship will slide into objects, making it impossible to remove them. Bug occurs about 21:0049. It may have to do with Vivecraft, as I'v only had this bug occur when playing in VR. Let me know if any other information will help.
