For some reason or another, whenever my friend disassembles a ship, the ship remains assembled and mountable while a duplicate of half the ship gets disassembled and left in midair. The mountable ship is fully assembled. I'm not sure what may be causing this. It also fixed itself for a brief time, but today (2/18/2019) the glitch happened again. Forgive me if I did not give enough information, second time posting an issue, I'm happy to answer any questions if it helps you help me.
Update: For some reason, whenever the ship is disassembled it changes the gamerule doTileDrops to false
