I don't use debian, so I don't know the suggested ways to install from source.
But if you don't mind it not being tracked by your package manager, you can ensure the dependencies are installed, clone the git repo, then just make
and make install
.
Is this debian, or a *bunutu? If the later, which one? Ubuntu (with unity) seems to have diverged enough with Mir that many behaviors of slider may not work as intended.
Coincidentally, I did just install ubuntu on an old netbook to test out packaging for another package of mine - so I may start packaging and testing slider as a .deb soon as well, but most likely this will not make it to the top of my list until late in the year.
Hi @TrilbyWhite, thanks for answer. I was a little distracted while I have tried to compile it (I did not see the package dependency), sorry for the question. It compiles here very well.
I do use Debian (with Gnome3). I also can test your .deb on my machine. It would be my 0,5 cent on your dev proccess.
Thanks again!
Hi,
How should I install your program on a Debian machine?
Thanks
