Most of us can agree that the seasonal Eggy event is kinda trash. You only have a chance to get 1 egg a zone, and you have to do it manually! This wouldn't be too bad if the rewards were worth it, but they're certainly not.
As it stands, clicking on an egg can give basic/secondary resources, as well as a 9% chance for a little bit of He, a 5% chance for a little bit of Nu, a 2% chance for a random loom, and a 1% chance for a VM.
Unless you're in the EARLY early game, none of these are really going to be that impactful.
My thought is that to allow eggs to be more useful (or at least somewhat on-par with the Presimpts) they should be able to give Dark Essence!
Only getting one a zone, and not even guaranteed, would be super useful for some players, as many of us have had those moments where we would kill for just one more DE drop in a zone!
My idea for the chance of getting DE would be for it to have a 10%–20% chance of rewarding DE (scaling back basic rewards to compensate), but the chance could be up to y'all :)
I just feel like there would be so many times that an egg giving you one DE drop would trigger that sort of "oh hell yeah thank you" response that Presimpt bones do, instead of the near-total apathy I feel towards them now.
