Ver: TC 0004d2e9cfb2 2013-09-02 15:11:28 (Win32, Release) DB: TDB 335.52 No mods or extensions being used.

On my mage I occasionally cannot move after casting the spell Blizzard. She will make the movement animation but not actually move. If I am in an outdoor area I can mount and move, but lose the ability to move again upon dismounting. This bug does not happen every time, It seems it is about 1 time per 10 casts of Blizzard. I have not noticed this effect on any other character or any other spells.

Some additional info. It seems to be related to instances, or perhaps mob abilities. I just ran Strat without the issue happening once. I went back to Zul Farrak, Maurodon, and Scholomance which is where I was first having the problem. The affect occurs in those three instances, but did occur through an entire run of Strat.

I have noticed the same effect, but in completely different circumstances: my human paladin will get stuck after killing an enemy and being awarded XP. This is happening about 1/100 kills at first, but once it starts happening, even after I get unstuck by logging out and back in, it will happen for about 1/3 kills. Perhaps it has to do with the mobs; I've noticed it with gnolls in SW elwynn forest and defias * in NW westfall. Presumably it's not just limited to those.

/EDIT I deleted my char with id nr. 1 (in database) and created the same again. no new bug (everything works fine now!)

most likely caused by scripted mobs that root the character and never unroot it.

This sounds just like issues #9960 and #8980 in which it is theorized characters with GUID 1 have this problem, initially mostly occurring with fleeing mobs for some reason.
