Confirmed, there seems to be too many copper vein nodes in Durotar. I ran a level 12 character around Thunder Ridge + Razorwind Canyon + Razormane Grounds only once, but still mined+smelted enough copper ore to advance my mining skill to Journeyman Miner (70/150).
I noticed there are at least 2 inaccessible copper nodes:

2 nodes spawn at very close X,Y coordinates (seems like on top of each other), but one up inside the rocks, one at the bottom floor, 38.2136 (yards?) apart.

We have Calculate.Gameoject.Zone.Area.Data to search something by area\zone
Oh. I see. So it is better to enable those settings in worldserver.conf and then see if it becomes more evened out.
Description:
There seems to be some problems regarding the minning nodes in Durotar, like for example:
. There are 2 Mithril nodes in razorwind canyon . There is a Tin Vein in Valley of Trials . There is a Ooze covered Gold Vein near Kolkar Crag . The are way too many Copper veins spawned in areas like near Tirargarde Keep, or near the Quillboars (Bad pooling, maybe?)
